This device is a camera, internet browser, personal assistant and cell phone all in one. It’s like a Swiss army blade style communication appliance. You can stay in touch with friends and family using email, voice or pictures. The phone opens up to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard making it easy to type unlike other similar devices.

There are a few complaints on the service that accompanies the phone. It appears the only service provider available is T-Mobile so if you don’t like them, you’re out of luck. However, we do recommend the Sidekick 2 to gadget lovers and anyone who likes owning the latest technology. Plus, it’s just plain cool looking. How many people do you know that have a sweet looking futuristic computer phone? The T-Mobile Sidekick 2 comes with a handset, hands-free headset, carrying case, AC adaptor and application CD.

Pros: QWERTY keyboard is easy to use and types fast. Clear easy to read color display screen.

Cons: Slow internet connection makes it difficult to do anything on the web other than send email and instant message. The camera takes low quality pictures.
