There are so many cell phones out there. This one is pretty similar to the others out there of comparable service. It is the first iDEN phone with a built in camera. But the camera is pretty typical of others on the market, it has a self timer, and LED flash, and video recording. It also has the speaker phone option. Most new phones on the market have this feature, but if you don’t have it, you’ll miss it once you’ve used it. It also has a full color screen, which is pretty much mandatory for a camera phone.

I do like the look of this phone. It had a more masculine, rugged look that most clamshell styles. Nextel phones are kind of known as the construction workers phone. Some of their models look like Tonka made them. And you get a travel charger with it. You probably won’t need another charger if you have one for the car. And you can get the entire typical stuff to go with this phone. There is a case available in a variety of colors and material. It comes with a battery, but you can buy an extra if you think you need it. And it weighs 4.77 ounces. I think this phone is fine, but nothing special. And I’m not crazy about Nextel. I think it comes down to simple preference, not quality of price on this one.
