Do you remember the days when you would sit out on the back porch with your grandparents and everyone would take turns churning the ice cream maker? And when it was ready it was like heaven in a spoon. Well, this machine does all that and more. But minus the back breaking labor and mess that was required back than. I know there have been lots of electric ice cream machines around for years, but I always found they made a ton of noise and leaked water all over the counter. The one I had before this actually had the nerve to tell me I needed to put it on a towel! And the towel wasn’t even enough to keep the counter clean.

The Cuisinart is a known name in kitchen appliances for several reasons, and a good product with a good reputation is part of it. This machine makes two quarts of your favorite ice cream with easy step by step instruction. My favorite is just plain vanilla, and that is REALLY easy. Some machines out there make up to 6 quarts, but I consider that an unreasonable amount of ice cream needed in one setting for one family. Yes this machine is priced slightly higher that some, but you will find it well worth it because you will actually use this machine again after the first time.
