JVC KT-SR2000 Plug n Play Sirius Satellite Radio Receiver

Filed under: — product reviews @ 2:07 pm

The satellite radio sensation is sweeping America. And why not? No commercials and very music taste specific; it’s a great idea whose time has come. And this unit is a favorite of mine for several reasons. First, it gets good reception. There are so many radio waves flying all over the place these days and good reception is becoming an issue again not because off lack of technology, but of too much. There have been some concerns regarding the FM modulator, but they are mild at worst. (more…)

SanDisk 512 MB Secure Digital Card

Filed under: — product reviews @ 4:57 pm

The SanDisk SDSDB-512-A10 512MB Secure Digital Card, like many of the 512MB cards, will store on average 568 to 160 images depending on how many megapixels your camera is. These figures are based off the theory that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and recognize that they are approximations and may be off by 10 percent due to several reasons including the intricacy of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your camera. Canon PIXMA iP3000 Photo Printer

Filed under: — product reviews @ 3:19 pm

Lets start with an interesting fact: canon printer’s cost much less to operate than hp printers, startling but true. This Canon PIXMA iP3000 Photo Printer has 4 separate inkwells (black, yellow, red, blue), and they cost about $12 each (give or take a penny or two depending where you shop). The Canon cartridges don’t include the print head, that is a separate part that doesn’t need replacing very often. If the print head ever breaks, they are as easy to replace as is replacing an ink cartridge. (more…)

KitchenAid KFPW760WH 700-Watt 12-Cup Food Processor

Filed under: — product reviews @ 9:30 pm

Food processors make your food into mush, but they are good for making bread crumbs. Is this what you have heard? Do you agree? Well, I have to say that my experience has been the same. The only exception was something that shot salad out and it just sliced every thing the exact same. That is not the case with this food processor. (more…)

The one cup coffee maker is a miracle of modern invention. The first time I saw a similar product it was in a party setting and a rather large machine, but it was the hit of the party.
