This is a great little piece of equipment for two types of people. This is for the outdoor lover who is outside regardless of the weather is the first. And if you love to mix your own music, this is great too. If you’re both of these things, you’re in heaven with this MP3 player. The Oregon Scientific is not only shockproof for the ride across the country on a four wheeler, but its waterproof. This means a little rain isn’t going to do anything to it. But if you really want to get wet, it is water proof up to one meter for 30 minutes. It’s ideal for swimmers. And with 256 mega bytes holds up to 8 hours WMA. And for the MP3 it holds 4 hours. Does anyone really need more than that? If you do, just listen twice.

But maybe you’re in it just for the radio. How does 30 preset stations sound? I can’t even think of more than a few stations I listen to on a regular basis. So this might be a little over kill. But you’ll never want for another preset button. And that new USB keychain you got for Christmas, consider this your travel version. It has mass storage. With a digital voice recorder and a ten hour battery charge, what else do you need? How about compatibility with a MAC or PC. I don’t know about you, but I’m sold.
