SanDisk 512 MB Secure Digital Card

The SanDisk SDSDB-512-A10 512MB Secure Digital Card, like many of the 512MB cards, will store on average 568 to 160 images depending on how many megapixels your camera is. These figures are based off the theory that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and recognize that they are approximations and may be off by 10 percent due to several reasons including the intricacy of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your camera.

The speed of the SanDisk 512 MB Secure Digital Card is especially striking. It saves a photo a second with little to no delays or wait time. It also works awesome in the photo machines at any retailer if you want to get prints. One minor disappointment would be when it came time to download to a computer; it will take several minutes to transfer – thus being somewhat slow.

Another use of the SanDisk 512 MB that offered excellent results would be transferring music and playing music on this card. It seems to be able to store about 120 songs with an average encoding of 128kbps. Overall, the SanDisk SDSDB-512-A10 512MB Secure Digital Card is very affordably priced and great for images or audio. As always, you get what you pay for!
