The one cup coffee maker is a miracle of modern invention. The first time I saw a similar product it was in a party setting and a rather large machine, but it was the hit of the party. I actually considered purchasing the industrial size. But to my delight and surprise a home version came on the market less than a year later. Now there are so many on the market, it’s a tough choice.. The Melitta is the most affordable of the quality home version. It is available widely so it’s also easy to find. I’ve even seen it in a local grocery store.

This machine requires water in a reserve like any other coffee maker. The only down side is that only hold enough water for a few cups, but that’s kind of the point of the machine. You simply put a “pod� in the filter area and push start. This starts the water heating up, then, in about 30 seconds your cup will start filling with fresh brewed coffee. This machine comes in a variety of color as well. This makes it not only perfect for that cup of coffee that you need quick as you get ready to run out the door, but it also makes it a part of your kitchen decor.
