And if you need a machine that can take a large vegetable in the chute, this machine is perfect for that as well. Hence the name, “Big Mouth�. It isn’t lying; the chute is well equipped for even a decent size squash.

If you have never had a food chopper before, this is a great starter machine. It has just a few parts. There are only two blades with reversible sides and one bowl that locks in place, which is all your average home chef needs. There are machines out there with a lot more option, but unless you’re preparing your latest cook book or cooking show, it’s very likely unnecessary. If you have a chopper and have come to depend on it, this is also a great machine. It is made well and dishwasher safe, all those things that a good kitchen appliance should have. It also has a nice pulse action so you can stop cutting as soon as you think you have it sliced, grated, or chopped to your liking. But be careful, it is easy to make a high quality mush on this machine as well as anything!
