This waffle iron cooks 6 full size waffles to perfection efficiently and as well as the old one you have in you cabinet. Most waffle irons are about the same. But there are some great benefits to this one. The most obvious is that it makes 6 waffles at once. No more eating one at a time on Sunday morning. The other thing I like about this iron is that it beeps when it’s ready to be used. I have always done a test waffle in the past. It also beeps again when it thinks your waffle is done. This is open to debate. The iron does have six settings for barely cooked to burned, but that is all a matter of opinion. I would just try it out until it beeps when the waffle looks the way you think it should.

There are few down sides to this machine. It does take up more room than your average waffle maker. The insert says in can be stored on its side, but it isn’t very stable and when it’s stored this way, it falls pretty easily. Another big down side it your chances of getting burned. The handle isn’t covered all the way around, so you have to be careful when getting the waffles out. The machine its self gets really hot as well. But I think this is true for most waffle makers. This one is just so large that it provides more burn possibility. This waffle maker had good quality and is great for a big breakfast.
